Product Review: No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hello lovely people,

So, from around January of this year I’ve decided I must have a better skincare routine.  At that moment, it consisted of a bar of soap and a baby wipe so anything would have been an improvement.  At 28, with the beginnings of laughter lines and grey hairs its time to sort it out!

With anything, its a case of trail and error. Some skincare can be cheap and cheerful and some will require you to re-mortgage your house!

One thing that sticks out with everything I have tired so far is the Hot Cloth Cleanser from No7.  Many people have suggested this to me and I’m so glad they have! I’ve only used this product a few times but from the feel and smell of it, I feel like i’m getting a mini facial every time.

One pump is enough for your whole face and at £9.99 for 200ml it will last a while. Also, there are manys a time if I’ve been shopping in boots, I’ve been given a no7 voucher with my receipt so even more penny’s’ saved :-).

One Pump. Lots of creamy Goodness!

Its so easy to use, doesn’t take up much time at all and leaves my skin feeling so soft! There has been no irritation, no redness and no tears…especially when telling my husband about the price! Removes make-up like its no problem at all, although waterproof mascara gives a little bit of a fight.

I don’t have much I can compare this with.  My mummy dearest does use the Liz Earl Hot Cloth Cleanser and it smells amazing but it is that bit dearer. I’ll help myself to it next time I visit for “research purposes” and get back to you on that one!

The verdict? I would say go treat yourself. If your have a few boot points on your card it would be rude not too.

So, I’m gonna get serious, just for a second!

As I’m a stay at home mum for two, my husband has always said i need a hobby. I left a pretty good job while I was pregnant with my first baby. I’ve been out of work since then, partly because I want to be the one to raise my kids, partly due to health.

I thought a blog would be fun and easy and it is! I have loved planning what i’m gonna write about..its my wee thing to work on. I know I’ve only posted two things but I’ve caught the blogging bug big time! I had planned to review a MUR haul (which I will still do, fyi I NOW LOVE MUR) but I’ve been bed-bond. I suffer from a few things..the main one being Fibromyalgia.

So I’ve been in pain…Its been hard to even walk across the kitchen, though my waist has loved that! I’ve only been able to type for a few minutes (which means no online shopping, my bank has loved that!).

Feeling a bit more human today, so gonna get back to planning, trying a few new things and more importantly, make-up shopping!!

Fibromyalgia it's symptoms and causes

I know i haven’t went into great detail but I don’t want to bore you. If you fancy a wee nosy and want to ask about anything then send a wee message, I don’t bite….much!

Now that seriousness is all finished, i’m going to go have a nosy at superdrugs 3 for 2 on make-up 😉

Thanks for sticking around!

p.s Debenhams have a rather awesome MAC set atm for £50!! Contents add up to around £150, tried to post a link but it didn’t work. Just search for mac gift-sets and it should show its face 🙂

I’d try anything once…

Okay okay, some of you can get your mind out of the gutter now! 😉

I mean that if someone tells me a secret, a hack or trick to get better skin, then i’m doing it. I have had bad skin (spots, redness, scares and blackheads) since the age of 11. I’ve been to my GP, seen a dermatologist and been to every beauty stand you can think off to make it better…nothing works.

The latest thing I have tried it egg whites. Apparently, a great and natural way to rid your face of blackheads. Seems simple enough and I’m just back from a food shop so why not?

So this is me…such a wonderful photo, but necessary to show what i’m talking about.

So these are the easy  steps you need to take to try this:

  1. Take the white of an egg and whisk until frothy
  2. Brush the froth over you nose then stick a bit of tissue to it
  3. Repeat step two then wait until the tissue has hardened.
  4. Remove tissue.

It didn’t take too long for the tissue to harden. 20-30 minutes maximum, And this is the results:

3  TADA!!!

Don’t know about you guys but I don’t see much of a difference.

Ah well….I’ll keep trying, and if anybody has any suggestions please do share.

Thanks for reading 🙂 !!
